You also need to have your own computer with broadband connection and be able to work at least four hours a day. You also need to learn how to utilize technologies and tools that you are required to use to teach online.
Universal Class
Smarthinking.com also hires part time tutors who can work from home. You can also apply as a tutor even if you are outside the US as long as you have a reliable internet access and a US based bank account where you earnings can be sent to.
Etutor.com is an online school established in 1997 for grades K-12. The site also provides internet based tutoring jobs. You can apply if you have a a bachelor’s degree. A teacher certification is preferred although not required.
